PTE Syllabus 

Candidates who wish to do well on their PTE Examination should familiarize themselves with the most recent PTE syllabus 2022. PTE exam syllabus

Speaking Syllabus

As the name says, this portion assesses the candidate's communication abilities, including their oral and written abilities. This component is divided into six short pieces that assess your swiftness in speaking and writing the written exam, which you will be reading for the first time.

Listening Syllabus

The PTE Academic's hearing component takes between 30 and 43 minutes to complete. This one is meant to test the candidate's ability to hear spoken English. The learner must ensure that they closely listen to the audio clip being played and recall what they hear.

PTE exam pattern

The Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic) evaluates applicants' writing and spoken abilities to verify that they are capable of learning in an international setting and have a strong command of the global language of English.

The PTE Academic Exam is graded on a scale of 10 to 90, with 10 being the lowest and 1 being the highest. The score, which is based on a scale, demonstrates a person's ability to read, talk, interpret verbal directions, and write in English.

PTE General Syllabus

PTE General is designed to reward successful achievement in the learning of English. An exam is an evaluation tool as it is meant for English-speaking learners of other languages (ESOL).

PTE General syllabus combines all four skills (listening, hearing, speaking and writing) and focuses on determining the ability to communicate in English rather than on measuring abilities.

  • Accepted by hundreds of schools, universities and government agencies around the world.
  •  Tests real-world English skills, using the type of language you may hear in a classroom or social environment. 
  • The test format helps you to articulate yourself and show your abilities through common scenario-based tasks such as writing messages, reading newspaper articles, or engaging in news stories.
  • Levels 4 and 5 are recognized for admission to UK universities and by many international companies

PTE Academic Syllabus

You will need to visit a safe Pearson Test Center to pass a PTE Academic Exam. You'll use a monitor and a microphone to listen to, read, and answer questions. There are three main parts to the PTE academic syllabus during the three-hour test session: speaking and writing (together), listening and reading. There is also an optional 10-minute pause from reading and listening. During the study, you can find twenty different question types, ranging from multiple choices to essay writing and analyzing details.
